the story of Jocie’s bread began during a deeply personal season of my life. After becoming a mother of 2, I faced postpartum anxiety and depression, and I was searching for something steady and grounding in the midst of it all. What started as a simple attempt to bake sourdough at home slowly became a source of comfort, purpose, and healing. The rhythm of feeding my starter, kneading dough, and creating something from scratch gave me a sense of calm and accomplishment when I needed it most. Over time, baking not only helped me reconnect with myself, but also created meaningful moments with my children- teaching them patience, creativity, and the joy of homemade food. What began as a way to cope has grown into something I’m incredibly proud to share with others: bread made with love, intention, and a whole lot of heart.
